That is BEAUTIFUL! I feel the same way about Marshall. He's complicated too but I dearly love him. I found a song that you will absolutely love. OK, I don't KNOW you'll love it but I THINK you will. It's called "New Words". I'll email you the words. I found the song on Rhapsody and I-Tunes so I'll have to figure out how to send it to you. I think every parent of boys needs to hear it.
I Love your post about the Nutella thief. It totally cracked me up!
You made me cry - but in a good way. This is just gorgeous Lisa. I had a rough day with Thomas - not because of anything bad but because I feel he is changing... I saw parts of him I don't even know and that scares me. I feel guilty about working like I do but then that is who I am. I told him that I am glad I am on holidays because I have two weeks to get him back into shape. I am also keeping him home from day care tomorrow - because he is going to help me clean up all the mess he had made! LOL! No seriously - I love the kid and want to spend some time with him. He has been accepted into the Shepherd Centre preschool for next year (2 days a week). I won't be sending him to school until he turns 6 in 2011! Jodi xxxxxxxxx
Dear Jodi, I created the layout after a particularly bad day with Harry. I am glad it 'spoke' to you too. Hard to believe our little men are heading towards school isn't it?
Lisa, your journaling brought tears to my eyes! Written so well, I so wish I could put my thoughts into words like you have here! Amazing page, full of love! Great work!
This is one of my favourite layouts ever, The journaling is unreal. It must have been hard to document in a way that was not critical, but an enchanting insight into the little soul that he is. What a beautiful way to preserve this memory… sometimes its these little things you tend to forget
